Put an image in your sidebar

Putting an image in a post is already covered here.
Putting an image in a sidebar needs a little more work.

You upload the image(using the steps from the above link to uploading images, find its location then add it to a text widget. Here’s how:
Upload the image. Remember that if the image is too big your sidebar will break or look wrong.

Once uploaded you’ll see the link url of the image.

Copy the URL.

Now go to Design -> Widgets and add a Text Widget.

The URL goes into the widget like this:

Click “Change” and “Save Your Changes”.  You can have many images in one widget.
