I just pressed DELETE by accident!

If you have just accidentally deleted something you have written, it might be possible to rescue it. It does NOT undelete posts or comments!
CTRL+Z (Windows)

CMD+Z (mac)

Pressing CTRL and Z at the same time undoes what you just did.

It does NOT work in every situation. If the browser has had an error, if you made lots and lots of changes and want to undo them all but it is worth trying if you accidentally deleted something and now you are staring at the screen in horror.

Try this. Copy and paste this text into your Write Post screen. (Though this works for Notepad and most other applications):

33333
44444
55555
66666
77777
88888
99999
00000

Now alter the list. Remove numbers, join lines together. When you have made a few changes, press CTRL and Z together. Your last change should disappear. Hold them both down - if you didn’t do too many all the changes should disappear.
